Abstract: The subsurface characterization of the acid-gas injection operations in the Edmonton area will help to address various issues that relate to the disposal and/or sequestration of acid and greenhouse gases, specifically in Devonian and Lower Cretaceous strata. The characterization is based on reservoir-scale data and information submitted by the operators to the EUB, on basin-scale work performed at the Alberta Geological Survey during the last 15 years, and on local and reservoir-scale work performed by the AGS specifically for this report.
