For this conference, the traditional WAML field trip will be known as Tour Day, and will take place exclusively on the UBC campus on Saturday morning, May 13. Comprising a science-oriented campus walking tour and a narrated visit to the Pacific Museum of the Earth, Tour Day will be free of charge. The Pacific Museum's mandate is geological sciences and minerals.

Having a limited group tour day on campus will permit us later in the day to individually visit other paid attractions such as the Museum of Anthropology, or to venture further afield into Vancouver, home of many enjoyable tourist sites: www.tourismvancouver.com.
