News & Notes, currently suspended, was a bimonthly web-based newsletter that included time-sensitive items such as cataloging news, information about new mapping products, employment opportunities, and mapping agency news. News & Notes issues are archived on the WAML website.

In addition to these two publications, WAML also publishes Occasional Papers, reference books that contain information about maps that would otherwise not be available. A complete list of Occasional Papers with prices and ordering information is available on the Publications webpage.
